Butterfly Blue Pea Latte
Today, we will learn how to create a magical and mesmerizing drink that will not only impress your friends but also transport you to a whimsical world – the Blue Pea Butterfly Latte!
Ingredients
30 dried butterfly blue pea flowers
½ cup (120 mL) hot water (80 degrees Celsius)
1 tbsp rose water
1 cup (240 mL) milk

Directions
- Add hot water (80 degrees Celsius) to dried flowers and allow it infuse for a 30-40 minutes.
- Do not brew the flowers as you want the active compounds to be present. Boiling hot temperatures may compromise and reduce the nutritional value of the flowers. The longer you steep, the deeper the color becomes.
- Once you’ve infused the tea, add rose water and swirl to combine.
- Then heat some milk on a saucepan and gently heat on low flame. Pour half into each desired cups.
- Strain out the flowers from the gorgeous brewed tea and slowly pour it into your milk cup.
- Our recipe doesn’t require the need of sugar as we are trying to keep it as a healthier choice. However, you may add any sweetener of your choice to this latte.
- For that perfect finishing touch, grab your trusty milk frother and whip up a lovely layer of froth.
